Mode of functioning

CO2 is forced through the micro-pore filter tube. This produces thousands of ultra-fine CO2 bubbles which dissolve quickly and effectively in the constant flow of water. The CO2 -enriched water passes through the filter and the filter return line into the aquarium. The Micro-Perler Special is ideal for all external filters with a water flow from bottom to top and a minimum delivery rate of approx. 100 l/h, i.e. for virtually all standard models available on the market. It is simply connected to the intake line of the external filter in place of the standard filter cage.
